Reformation Sources Online
Reformation Sources Online documents the history of the protestant Reformation in Europe. At completion in 2010, the database will contain well over 4,000 titles. The vast majority of these are rare and even unique sources from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. They have carefully been selected by a top team of international scholars, all specialists in their fields. All sources required for a complete and thorough understanding of the Reformation have been included and all major reformers are represented, as well as several of the lesser known figures.

One of the strengths of Reformation Sources Online is that it incorporates sources from many great library collections, making it easy to view all texts you need in one search. Among the contributing libraries are the Zentralbibliothek Zurich, the Bavarian State Library, the Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel, the National Central Library Florence, the Bodleian Library Oxford, Cambridge University Libraries, the Bibliotèque nationale de France, and Amsterdam University Library. Reformation Sources Online is an indispensable tool for historians, church historians, book historians, and theologians alike.
